January 2019

Recap: The Xena Project held small groups for warriors and families every Thursday in Simonton, small groups for incarcerated veterans in Fort Bend County Jail every Thursday, small groups for warriors every other Monday in Rosenberg, kicked off Financial Peace University (ten-week course) in Fulshear, held the first monthly confidential group for EMS Support Staff at their location, taught de-escalation of force to law enforcement, supported Veterans Treatment Court, and welcomed Catholic Charities Women Veterans’ group for an evening at the ranch.

February 2019

Recap: The Xena Project held small groups for warriors and families every Thursday in Simonton; small groups for incarcerated veterans in Fort Bend County Jail every Thursday; continued Financial Peace University in Fulshear every Sunday; attended the Fort Bend County Criminal Justice Mental Health Summit; supported FB County Veterans Treatment Court; presented to the Rosenberg Lions Club; and stood up a charter in San Angelo, Texas to bring services to the Concho Valley.

Monday, 18 March, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Bi-Weekly Small Group for Veterans and Law Enforcement at Holy Roast Coffee Shop (503-C Houston Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471. Note: Off 723, right after the Brazos River bridge). This group meets in the prayer room, and your coffee is on us.

Wednesday, 20 March – monthly confidential group for first responders and support staff at their location, by request. Sunday, 2 June, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Salute to Heroes Car Show, benefitting The Xena Project, Brazos Town Center, Rosenberg. Thank you to The Lost Cajun Restaurant for hosting, and to title sponsors Texas Roadhouse, Legacy Ford, and Relentless Defender.
